Josh McCown finishes Week 14 as the top ranked Fantasy quarterback after completing 27 of 36 passes for 348 yards and four touchdowns without an interception. McCown also added 16 yards rushing and a score on three carries to lead the Bears to a 45-28 win over the Cowboys.
Hanser Alberto went 1-for-5 with two RBI, including the go-ahead single in the 15th inning of the Rangers’ win over the Blue Jays on Friday in Game 2 of the ALDS.
What a storybook ending to Game 2 for Alberto, who made a crucial error in the second inning which eventually helped the Blue Jays plate two runs to tie the game early, 3-3. But Alberto came back in the 15th inning to laser a go-ahead, run-scoring single to center field to give the Rangers all the room they would need to escape with a 2-0 ALDS lead. Texas added an insurance run one batter later to give them some cushion, but it was Alberto’s RBI that mainly allowed them to head to Texas with a huge upper hand. Alberto could have a gigantic role coming this postseason. With Adrian Beltre dealing with a back injury, Alberto will be called on to handle the hot corner at third base and provide some sort of stability out of the No. 9 spot in the order.
