Mike Shanahan said that if Robert Griffin is benched this weekend, Kirk Cousins would be the starter for final three games. Not just Sunday.
Will be curious to see how this shakes out. Mainly does Mike Shanahan have the support of the Washington organization, as a whole, to keep his job. Cousins could be a sneaky play in DFS this coming week as weather, and arguably opposing defense, will not be a factor as Washington travels to Atlanta to take on the Falcons in Week 15 and are at home in Week 16 against the defensively challenged Cowboys. Cubs will recall Addison Russell from Triple-A Iowa on Tuesday.
Welp, this is a surprise. Russell is arguably a better prospect than Kris Bryant, albeit from more of a real-life than fantasy perspective. He had 11 hits in 37 at-bats at Iowa with a home run and will immediately slot in as the Cubs' everyday second baseman. The Cubs aren't likely to fool around with a prospect of Russell's caliber, so you can expect he'll be in the lineup as long as he's on the 25-man roster. He needs to be owned in all leagues and has the potential to contribute in both the power and speed categories and will qualify at both MI positions. Get excited. Analysis: Spencer Silva
Frankie Hammond signed his exclusive rights free-agent tender.
Although it’s harsh to say, many receivers see their careers take a downfall after going to Kansas City. Alex Smith isn’t capable of helping his star wideouts produce big numbers. Last year was a prime example in that Smith never connected with a wide receiver for a touchdown. Jeremy Maclin should break that this year and put up decent numbers, but he is the only wide receiver in Kansas City that should be drafted. Stay away from Hammond. Analysis: Colby Conway
