George Hill tied his career-high with 11 assists in the 106-102 loss to Portland.
After a slow start to the season, Hill has turned it up a notch, some, over his last five games as he is averaging 12.6 points, 4.6 boards, 6.2 assists, and 2.2 steals in that span. Hill still continues to struggle with his shot as he is shooting just 36.5% over his last five games and 40% on the season, but if he can keep dishing out dimes at the higher rate and getting steals it will make it easier to fade the poor shooting percentage going forward. Zach Miller caught two passes on seven targets for 10 yards and a TD on Thursday night vs Green Bay.
Miller got the start in place of the injured Martellus Bennett on Thursday night. In all, he finished with two catches and a touchdown on seven targets, looking mediocre, however doing his best with the hand he was dealt. Anyone who started him in daily leagues could have expected better, however it is a bit spoiled to come away with much more than a TD as a definite backup. Consider him a wise play on Thursday night, and a keen start going forward at least until Bennett comes back healthy. Analysis: Dom Murtha
