Andrew Bailey has been going to Boston for treatment twice a week, but his days as a Red Sox could be numbered.

Corey Dickerson was scratched Wednesday because of reoccurring lower back tightness.

This is not news any Dickerson owners wanted to see as we approach opening day. Dickerson is a popular early round pick following his breakout 2014 campaign where he hit .312 with 74 runs, 24 home runs, 76 RBI and eight stolen bases over 131 games. While he was scratched a precautionary measure many fantasy players know that back problems can linger throughout the season and the word reoccurring is never a good thing when talking about an injury concern. Analysis: Jonathan Impemba

Terrence Jones is in the Rockets starting lineup on Wednesday.

Jones return to the starting lineup will bump Josh Smith back to the bench with Joey Dorsey getting the start at center. Though Smith is going to the bench he's likely still to see a good chunk of minutes. Analysis: Jonathan Impemba

Monta Ellis is out on the floor participating in warmups. He looks like he will play.

Ellis missed the Mavericks last game on Sunday due to a calf injury but if he is active Wednesday against the Thunder he deserves to be started in most fantasy formats. Analysis: Jonathan Impemba

Eddie Butler (right shoulder fatigue) played long toss on Wednesday. If Butler can pitch Saturday, he is in line to start the third game of the season.

Butler is Baseball America's 77th ranked prospect coming into the season which is a sharp drop from his 24th place ranking heading into last season. Butler struggled at the minor league level in 2014 going 6-10 with a 4.00 ERA over 20 starts but still managed to earn a call up which also went poorly as he went 1-1 with a 6.75 ERA over three starts. Analysis: Jonathan Impemba

Bradley Beal is heading to the locker room with trainers.

Beal has dealt with injuries off and on all season. While he is out of the lineup the Wizards will likely turn to Rasual Butler or Otto Porter Jr. in his place. Analysis: Jonathan Impemba

Red Sox announce that Christian Vazquez will undergo Tommy John surgery on Thursday.

This is disappointing news for Vazquez who was slated to be the Red Sox starting catcher as he entered his first full season in the majors. Even more damaging to Vazquez is the fact that Blake Swihart who is the No.1 ranked catching prospect in baseball is playing at the Triple-A level for the Red Sox this season and will likely end up surpassing him on the depth chart while he recovers from Tommy John. To enter the season Ryan Hanigan will likely see the majority of starts behind the plate for the Red Sox. Analysis: Jonathan Impemba

Al Jefferson is heading to the bench after taking an elbow to the face from Andre Drummond. He will remain in the game after a trainer looked at his mouth.

This is good news for the Hornets who need to win to keep their playoff hopes alive and Big Al will be key to achieving that goal. He has his hands full tonight against Drummond who has been one of the leagues best centers all season long. Analysis: Jonathan Impemba

Derrick Favors (back) will play Wednesday against the Nuggets.

Favors should dominate this match up if he can stay on the court as the undersized Nuggets front court has struggled defensively this season.  Analysis: Jonathan Impemba

Anthony Bennett (ankle) will play Wednesday against the Raptors.

Bennett has totaled just 19 minutes over the last two games and while he will play on Wednesday he should be avoided in all fantasy lineups. Adreian Payne will once again get the start at power forward but is coming off dreadful 0-for-7 showing against the Jazz on Monday. Analysis: Jonathan Impemba

Joey Dorsey is in the Rockets starting lineup on Wednesday.

With Dwight Howard sitting Dorsey will enter the Rockets starting lineup. There is limited fantasy upside with Dorsey as the return of Terrence Jones will likely also eat into his playing time. Analysis: Jonathan Impemba

Dwight Howard will not play Wednesday against the Kings.

Howard will sit for the first time since returning to the Rockets lineup. In his absence Joey Dorsey will get the start but it would not surprise me if the returning Terrence Jones sees a majority of the minutes. Analysis: Jonathan Impemba

Kevin Martin (hamstring) will not play Wednesday against the Raptors.

No Martin again should mean another start for Lorenzo Brown at the shooting guard spot but Chase Budinger is the player that will benefit the most coming off the bench. Analysis: Jonathan Impemba

Ricky Rubio (ankle) will not play Wednesday against the Raptors.

This will make eight-straight games Rubio has missed with the ankle issue. As the season winds down, he is likely to make fewer appearances as the Timberwolves are nowhere near the playoffs and there's no reason to rush him. Analysis: Howard Bender

Carl Landry is in the Kings starting lineup on Wednesday.

With Rudy Gay out, Landry will draw the start at power forward against the Rockets. He's averaging just 16.5 minutes per game this season but he's likely to see roughly 20-25 in this one. Analysis: Howard Bender
