Vikings signed QB Josh Freeman to a one-year deal worth $2,833,334, which equals $2 million for remainder of 2013, according to source.
Freeman flamed out in Tampa Bay and was mercifully released after the relationship with the club suffered irreparable damages. Though he's been a mess over the past season plus of NFL action, we simply cannot forget the player who tossed 25 touchdowns and just six interceptions in 2010. With Adrian Peterson and Greg Jennings in the mix as well as speedster Jerome Simpson and rookie Cordarelle Patterson, the talent is in place in Minnesota for Freeman to resurrect his broken career. He's worth a flier in two-QB leagues with a chance to start as soon as Week 7.
