Torii Hunter left shoulder is wrapped in ice after Monday's game. He says X-rays were negative, but says will play Game 4.
Hunter jammed his shoulder diving for a ball on the first at-bat of the game from the A's, which also resulted in a double for Coco Crisp. Hunter said the shoulder is just sore and, "I'm going to play, no matter what. It's a long way from the heart. It's not broke. I'm good. Give me some Advil, I'll be all right. Let's go." Hunter, like most of the Tigers, is struggling to hit A's pitching as he is just 2-for-10 in the series with two base hits, a walk, and three strikeouts.
