Justin Verlander shutout the Twins over six innings allowing six hits, three walks, and struck out 12 in the no-decision as Joaquin Benoit blew the save and the Twins would eventually go on to win Monday's game 4-3 in 11 innings.

Verlander joined Mickey Lolich as the second hurler in Tigers history to rack up 200 Ks in 5-straight seasons. Verlander hasn't exactly been a star this season with a 13-12 record and 3.56 ERA, but he's struck out 207 batters in 212.1 innings to at least give him some fantasy value. Still, a 1.33 WHIP, for a guy who had been at 1.18 or lowers each of the past four years, it's been a disappointing season.
