Hanley Ramirez is not in the Dodgers starting lineup on Friday.

As I reported late last night, it was unlikely that Hanley would play today after leaving Thursday's game in the seventh inning due to some discomfort in his left hamstring, the same hamstring that caused him to miss about a month of the season. If you are looking for a big dollar bat to replace him at short consider Nats SS Ian Desmond (around 9% of your cap) who is 13-for-34 (.382 avg./1.065 OPS) in his career versus Phillies starter Kyle Kendrick. Update: Hanley's injury is not with his hamstring rather he irritated a nerve in his back.
