Mariners are calling up Taijuan Walker to start Friday vs. Houston.

Mariners top prospect, Taijuan Walker, is coming off Pitcher of the Week honors in the PCL league and has just been dominate this season at the ripe age of 21-years old, which he just turned on August 13th. Walker has issues with control at times having walked 27 batters in 57.1 innings at Triple-A, but he has superstar potential as his strikeout totals suggest (160 strikeouts in 141.1 innings combined between Double-A and Triple-A this season). He should be considered a must add, if for anything his first start is against the Astros.
