Josh Johnson (forearm strain) has been officially shut down for the rest of the season.

Joe Panik went 1-for-4 with a double, two RBI and a run scored against the Braves on Thursday.

Panik is now slashing .296/.363/.432 with three home runs and 19 RBI through his first 169 at-bats as he continues to be a legitimate second baseman to own in deep league formats. Although he doesn't have the track record to back his solid start, he remains someone worth starting as long as he can maintain his above average batting average at the very least.  Analysis: Matthew Beck

Hunter Pence went 1-for-4 with a triple, two RBI and a run scored against the Braves on Thursday.

Pence has returned from injury without any major setbacks as he is now slashing .294/.333/.510 with two home runs and 12 RBI through his first 51 at-bats. As he gets back up to speed his power production should pick up so he remains a must-start in all formats until further notice.  Analysis: Matthew Beck

Chris Heston tossed 7 1/3 shutout innings allowing just four hits and one walk while striking out six batters against the Braves on Thursday.

After allowing a total of 11 earned just over his previous two starts Heston got himself back on track Thursday as he managed to pitch a shutout through 7 1/3 innings. He is now sitting 5-3 with a 3.82 ERA, 1.27 WHIP and a 49:15 K:BB rate through his first 10 starts, but until he shows he can be consistent he is far from being an everyday starter outside of NL-only leagues. Heston will look to keep up the pace when he takes on the Pirates on Tuesday. Analysis: Matthew Beck

Shelby Miller allowed just one run on five hits and one walk while striking out one batters over seven innings against the Giants on Thursday.

Despite taking the loss on Thursday night Miller once again had himself a great game as he managed to allow just one run through seven innings. He has now allowed two earned run or less in each of his first 10 starts this season while sitting 5-2 with a 1.48 ERA, 0.88 WHIP and a 49:18 K:BB rate through 67 innings. The Braves new staff ace will look to keep the ball rolling when he takes on the Diamondbacks on Tuesday. Analysis: Matthew Beck
