Updated: Dr.James Andrews says there's not much that can be done to prevent Matt Harvey's injury. Says if it is going to happen, it will.

It's hard to imagine that Matt Harvey will not eventually succumb to having Tommy John surgery, but as of now the team is going to go the "rest" route. If indeed Tommy John surgery is required the expected timetable for recovery is 11 months.
