Rangers pitcher Neftali Feliz appeared in a rehab game with Triple-A Round Rock Monday. He pitched an inning and did not allow a run in the 20-2 win over Nashville, the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports.
Felix is getting close to joining the Rangers bullpen, and while he doesn't have much value in mixed leagues, he is an intriguing stash for keeper leagues. Feliz will likely either go back into the rotation next season or inherit the closer job if the Rangers choose to buy out Joe Nathan's $9 million option for 2014. Either way Feliz should have significant value next season assuming he is healthy.
