Chris Nelson got some vengeance versus his old team, the New York Yankees, Thursday afternoon as he went 2-for-4 with his first two home runs of the season, including a grand slam, while knocking in five runs, and scoring twice in the Angels 8-4 win to avoid the sweep at the hands of the Yankees.

Entering play today Nelson had three home runs this season and just 13 in 714 career at-bats. He's not a power hitter, not at all. He does own a .275 batting average though, and with Alberto Callaspo now wearing an Athletics' uniform there is a chance that he could see ample playing time down the stretch for the Angels.
