Red Sox manager John Farrell said Allen Webster is in line to start Saturday against the Blue Jays, Sean McAdam reports.

Although the Red Sox brass saw some signs of improvement in Alan Webster's last outing against the Tigers, the stat line showed other wise as he allowed five runs on eight hits, a home run, and two walks in just 4.1 innings and the prospects of a better stat line does not bode well against a Blue Jays team that is one of the hottest teams going. Would not be a surprise to see Webster end up back in the minors soon, unless he can somehow stifle the sizzling Jays bats.
