Bo Porter said Justin Maxwell will definitely start when he returns but not necessarily in centerfield.

Justin Maxwell is well past his "high upside prospect" days and is merely a stop gap option for both the Astros and any potential AL Only league owners. Don't get too excited for his return as the Astros have done just fine (continuing to lose) in his absence and don't seem to figure into any playoff runs for at least 2-3 more years meaning they will most likely be playing their younger prospects over him as much as possible

This does not mean you should rush out to get Maxwell in your lineup. Maxwell has shown double-digit home run power in the past, but had just one the 20 games (83 plate appearances) he played in before going on the disabled list. If you are only getting one or so home run every 80 so plate appearances that is not enough to over-look his career .219 batting average.
