Manager Don Mattingly said Carl Crawford's hamstring is tight, but is available to pinch hit tonight.

Crawford is starting to look like he might be too injury prone to warrant any investment. His owners, giddy with the early-season renaissance he's has in LA, are likely beginning to wonder whether he might be too fragile to keep it up for the entire season. Shop him around now, and if you can get value equal to his year-to-date production, jump on it before he joins Hanley on the DL.

Crawford has had trouble with health for years, and the minor issues are starting to pile up. Still, he's currently on pace for to go 25/25 this season and he's hitting .304 with an impressive .871 OPS. It would be wise not to expect such overall production of course, but the fact remains that when he's been on the field Crawford has been very good.
