Updated: The Houston Texans have reportedly landed veteran Ed Reed through free agency. According to multiple outlets, including the Houston Chronicle, Reed officially agreed to a deal with Houston on Wednesday night.

Reed, who visited the Texans last week, was thought to have turned down an offer from the team, but he appears to have reconsidered. He will fit into Wade Phillips' defensive scheme nicely and should continue to hold solid fantasy value in IDP leagues.

Reed will join a talented defense with the Houston Texans. He will no doubt be a solid IDP option if he stays healthy. He should bolster the secondary and continue to play center-field like he has done so well throughout his entire career. Reed has 61 interceptions in 160 career games.
