The Steelers plan to shadow A.J. Green with Ike Taylor Sunday.

Emilio Bonifacio has left Tuesday's game with an injury.

Bonifacio was the DH for the White Sox on Tuesday and had apparently suffered a hip injury which forced him out of the game. Analysis: Jonathan Impemba

Aaron Brooks will start on Saturday.

Brooks was just acquired by the A's in the deal that sent Ben Zobrist to the Royals. In 18 games (17 starts) at Triple-A Omaha Brooks has gone 6-5 with a 3.71 ERA. Analysis: Jonathan Impemba

Drew Pomeranz will remain in bullpen.

Pomeranz had appeared in 21 games out of the bullpen for the Athletics while making nine starts this season. The trade of Scott Kazmir had opened up a slot in the rotation but the A's must feel Pomeranz is more productive out of the pen. Analysis: Jonathan Impemba

Update: Devon Travis left the game with left shoulder irritation.

We knew Travis had left the game due to injury and now we have the diagnosis. Travis should be considered day-to-day going forward and owners will want to monitor this situation.  Analysis: Jonathan Impemba

Edward Mujica has been named the teams closer.

Mujica had a very successful stint as the Cardinals closer back in 2013, saving 37 games with a 2.78 ERA and 1.01 WHIP. He signed with the Red Sox the following season where he saved eight games as the setup man for Koji Uehara. Analysis: Jonathan Impemba

Jaff Decker has been inserted into the Pirates starting lineup.

Decker will be batting ninth and playing left field with Starling Marte scratched due to an illness.  Analysis: Jonathan Impemba

Brent Morel has cleared waivers and elected free agency.

Morel had appeared in just three games for the Pirates this season and was waived following the acquisition of Aramis Ramirez. Analysis: Jonathan Impemba

Devon Travis left Tuesday's game with an apparent injury.

The Blue Jays are already a little short handed in their infield after trading Jose Reyes last night for Troy Tulowitzki who is not yet with the team. Travis started the game off with a home run for the Blue Jays so daily owners have at least already gotten value out of him but seasonal league owners should monitor this situation. Analysis: Jonathan Impemba

Starling Marte was scratched Tuesday with an illness.

Jaff Decker will moved into the lineup and bat ninth while playing left field for the Pirates. Marte owners should consider him day-to-day going forward. Analysis: Jonathan Impemba

Paco Rodriguez (elbow) has started a light throwing program.

Rodriguez is currently on the 60-day DL after he required surgery on an elbow strain that landed him on the DL at the end of May. Though he has started a light throwing program he is not expected to make an impact for the Dodgers again this season. Analysis: Jonathan Impemba

Chris Hatcher will throw another inning for High-A Rancho Cucamonga on Wednesday.

Hatcher is rehabbing an oblique injury which forced him to land on the DL in early June. For the Dodgers this season he has gone 1-4 with a 6.38 ERA over 27 appearances.  Analysis: Jonathan Impemba

Justin Turner was sent to the emergency room Tuesday for an infection on his leg.

It was first thought to be a routine day off for Turner but we now learn it's something much more serious. The extent of the infection is not yet known so Turner owners will have to consider him day-to-day until there is more information released. Analysis: Jonathan Impemba

Phillies will receive Double-A RHP Nick Pivetta fro Jonathan Papelbon.

Pivetta was a fourth round pick back in 2013 for the Nationals. He started the season in High-A Potomac where he went 7-4 with a 2.29 ERA over 15 appearances (14 starts) before being promoted to Double-A Harrisburg where he has struggled, going 0-2 with a 7.20 ERA over three starts. Analysis: Jonathan Impemba
