Tiago Splitter Headshot

Tiago Splitter (hamstring) will not play Friday.

Added 11/04/16 11:53 am (EST)   Source
Spliiter is not expected back for another week or two but is expected to see only a limited number of minutes as he works in behind Dwight Howard. The veteran is not someone that should be owned in fantasy.
Alec Burks Headshot

Burks (knee) will remain sidelined for Sunday's Game 7 against the Clippers.

Added Yesterday 10:30 pm (EST)
Burks, who's missed the entirety of the postseason thus far, will be sidelined for the final game of the Jazz's series against the Clippers. Though he doesn't play a major role on the team, the Jazz are likely hoping that the 24-year-old can recover before their potential second-round series, as he averaged 6.7 points across 15.5 minutes per game during the regular season.
Rudy Gobert Headshot

Gobert, who exited Friday's Game 6 loss to the Clippers during the fourth quarter with a mild left ankle sprain, is being considered probable for Sunday's Game 7, Andy Larsen of KSL.com reports.

Added Yesterday 9:47 pm (EST)
Gobert's designation as probable is likely just an exercise in caution, as it was reported earlier Saturday morning that he would be good to go for Sunday's Game 7 with no workload restriction after his X-rays came back negative. More word on his availability should come following the team's Sunday morning shootaround, though he should be expected to take part in the contest barring an unforeseen setback.
Ian Mahinmi Headshot

Mahinmi (calf) will be sidelined for Sunday's Game 1 against the Celtics.

Added Yesterday 6:41 pm (EST)
Mahinmi, who has reportedly been improving in his individual workouts, will still remain off the floor for the Wizards during Game 1 of their series against the Celtics. Mahinmi missed all of the Wizards' first-round matchup against the Hawks and remains without a real timetable for a return. His status will likely be updated sometime after Sunday's contest.
Dante Cunningham Headshot

Cunningham said Saturday that he intends to decline his player option for the 2017-18 season, Chris Haynes of ESPN reports.

Added Yesterday 12:27 pm (EST)
The decision doesn't come as much of a surprise considering Westbrook was set to make just over $3.1 million next season. The 30-year-old, who appeared in 66 games for New Orleans, will likely seek a longer-term deal as a free agent, and chances are he'll draw considerable interest after shooting nearly 40 percent from three in 2016-17.
Fred VanVleet Headshot

VanVleet was recalled from the D-League on Saturday.

Added Yesterday 11:28 am (EST)
With the D-League season concluded, VanVleet will return to the Raptors in advance of Monday's Game 1 against the Cavs. Expect the rookie out of Wichita State to simply provide depth at point guard.
Pascal Siakam Headshot

Siakam was recalled from the D-League on Saturday.

Added Yesterday 11:27 am (EST)
Siakam helped the Raptors 905 take home the D-League championship earlier in the week, and he'll now rejoin the Raptors in advance of Monday's Game 1 against Cleveland. The rookie started at power forward for most of the first half of the season, but he all but fell out of the rotation after Toronto acquired P.J. Tucker and Serge Ibaka at the trade deadline.
Bruno Caboclo Headshot

Caboclo has been recalled from the D-League.

Added Yesterday 11:25 am (EST)
With the Raptors 905 taking home the D-League championship earlier in the week, Caboclo will return to the Raptors as they begin Round 2 of the postseason Monday in Cleveland. Caboclo, who is still considered a developmental prospect, likely won't make an impact for Toronto against the Cavs.
Rudy Gobert Headshot

Gobert was removed from Friday's Game 6 loss to the Clippers in the fourth quarter with a mild left ankle sprain, but will be good to go for Sunday's Game 7, the Associated Press reports.

Added Yesterday 10:58 am (EST)
X-rays conducted on Gobert's ankle came back negative, and though he may still be dealing with some residual soreness once Sunday arrives, it's not anything that will result in his workload being limited with the Jazz needing all hands on deck to advance to the second round of the playoffs. Prior to his departure, Gobert enjoyed another productive outing, tallying 15 points (5-10 FG, 5-10 FT), nine rebounds, three blocks, two assists and two steals across 33 minutes.
Austin Rivers Headshot

Rivers started at shooting guard and supplied 13 points (5-10 FG, 3-7 3Pt), four rebounds, one assist and one block across 35 minutes Friday in a 98-93 win over the Jazz in Game 6 of the series.

Added Yesterday 10:55 am (EST)
Rivers was playing in just his second game after missing more than three weeks with a hamstring injury, but that didn't make coach Doc Rivers reluctant to move the younger Rivers up to the top unit and hand him major minutes. The 24-year-old looked far less tentative Friday than he did in his return to action three days earlier, as he provided some efficient scoring from beyond the arc, with one of his three treys helping the Clippers build a 14-point cushion with less than four minutes remaining in the fourth quarter. Expect him to start again and see another significant workload in Sunday's Game 7.
George Hill Headshot

Hill compiled 22 points (8-13 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 5-9 FT), five rebounds, three assists and one block across 32 minutes Friday in a 98-93 Game 6 loss to the Clippers.

Added Yesterday 10:51 am (EST)
A 80.1 percent free-throw shooter during the regular season, Hill is usually quite reliable from the charity stripe, but his four misses Friday proved costly in a game the Jazz had a chance to tie on their final possession. That won't prevent coach Quin Snyder from continuing to lean heavily on the point guard in Sunday's Game 7, as Hill remains the top sidekick to Jazz All-Star Gordon Hayward. Hill is averaging 16.8 points (on 47.4% shooting from the field), 4.2 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 1.7 three-pointers in 36.5 minutes per game through the first six contests of the series.
