Manish Mehta of the NY Daily News reports that he Buccaneers, Browns and Bengals were all interested in trading for Percy Harvin.

Not a huge surprise that the Bucs and Browns wanted an upgrade at wide receiver, but the Bengals are a novel entry on the list. Harvin went to a team that prolly will not use his skill set to the fullest, but where he will get the opportunity to shine and possibly save Rex Ryan's job.

Vikings coach Mike Zimmer won't be with the team Friday, he is having a minor procedure done. He'll be back with team Saturday, and will coach Sunday.

While the Vikings didn't comment on the extent or nature of the procedure, the fact that they anticipate his return Saturday signifies that it's not anything too major here. We wish him the best.

Ndamukong Suh has neither confirmed nor denied that he will bolting Detroit after this season. He declined to elaborate Wednesday on the subject. "I don't know where that story came from," he told the Detroit News.

Suh's refusal to confirm or deny is his way of trying to keep the peace and focus on the season. It's no secret that he's been unhappy with certain things within the organization and it's no secret that the front office has been unhappy with Suh on a number of occasions. In the end, the team will do what's best for them and Suh will get the best possible contract that he can get. It's a business above all else.

Matthew Stafford is fine after being banged up Sunday, but his minor injuries were the only ones coach Jim Caldwell would address during his Monday news conference.

Despite the minor injuries Stafford tore apart the Jets defense and was able to do so with Calvin Johnson playing limited snaps as he himself dealt with an injury throughout the game.

Vernon Davis not only says that his ankle is "way better,"but he showed no limp on Tuesday, Cam Inman of the Bay Area News Group reports.

Definitely a positive report from Inman and one that has Davis owners very excited about his impending Week 4 return. The Eagles rank 17th overall in pass defense and 14th against opposing tight ends. With the number of receiving weapons the 49ers have, the Eagles secondary is going to leave Davis exposed at some point or another.

Robert Griffin III got relatively good news after an MRI Monday. Griffin said today that an MRI revealed he does not have a fracture and does not think he will need surgery.

While that news is considered positive, RG3 is far from being out of the woods here. He's still in a cast and on crutches and the team said that there are more test results to go over. There has been no change in his expected return timetable, so we'll have to await more news from the team and the doctors examining him. Kirk Cousins remains a must-add.
