Nate Burleson said several teams have contacted his agent and believes he will sign with a new team before the start of free agency. Burleson said the Detroit Lions told him they would be interested in re-signing him during training camp at the veteran's minimum.

Todd Archer of ESPN reports that the Cowboys are interested in Burleson. We could see Burleson as a training camp insurance policy on a minimum salary, but if Dez, Beasley, Terrance Williams, and Harris stay healthy this fall, Burleson probably wouldn't make it.

Nate Burleson said he's willing to take a pay cut to stay with Detroit. "I put that out there early. That's pretty much the only option. Take less money or release me. I'm willing to do that," he said. "I'll definitely renegotiate and try to outwork my contract, just because I love this team. But at the end of the day I don't control any of that, especially with a new guy coming in."

Nate Burleson did not catch a pass in Thursday's 40-10 win over the Packers.

Burleson was targeted just once after seeing 10 targets the week before. Part of Burleson's lack of production was a result of the Lions running the ball more this week, almost double the amount of times they did in last week's loss to the Bucs. Don't bail on Burleson just yet as this game is likely an outlier of what the remainder of the season will bring for him.

Nate Burleson was impressive in his first game back since breaking his arm with seven receptions for 77 yards and a touchdown in the 24-21 loss to Tampa Bay.

Burleson picked up right where he left off prior to suffering a broken arm, having now recorded at least six receptions in each of his four games played this season. With opposing defenses concentrating heavily on Calvin Johnson, expect Burleson to make the most of his opportunities as a solid fantasy contributor moving forward.

Update: Lions WR Nate Burleson (arm) cleared for contact, will play Sunday barring a setback.

Nate Burleson has been upgraded to a full participant in practice Thursday for first time since breaking his arm.

Burleson is available in over 80% of leagues, which is astonishing, but good for you, pick him up asap. Burleson finished with double-digit Fantasy Points, in PPR leagues, in each of his first 3 games before getting injured.

Receiver Nate Burleson, who has practiced the last two weeks, ran with the first-team offense during the pre-practice skeleton drills. That's an indication that he will be part of the game plan on Sunday.

Burleson was good for three weeks before getting hurt, but there is no telling how healthy he is or how involved in the passing game he will actually be. He is always a decent play for desperate owners in deep ppr leagues, but standard league players can continue ignoring all Lions receivers besides Megatron.

Receiver Nate Burleson has been bidding his time, waiting for his chance to make a play, ever since breaking his forearm Sept. 24. He still has to meet with the doctors and get clearance this week to return, but he’s preparing like he’ll be on the field and in uniform on Sunday.

While Burleson should probably be added in all leagues, owners should temper their enthusiasm and not get carried away thinking they've got themselves a fantasy savior here. The Lions are still Calvin Johnson's team and he will continue to see the majority of targets each week. Burleson will slide back into the No. 2 role where Kevin Durham currently resides and may see an average of half a dozen targets per game, but expecting him to suddenly do more than has provided over the last few seasons seems a bit ridiculous. His 100-plus yard performance in Week 3 was his first since November 7, 2010.

Lions coach Jim Schwartz said there's a possibility that Nate Burleson will return this week. He's on a good track.

Burleson is worth a speculative add if you have a roster space to burn in nearly all formats. We've seen Kris Durham be productive in the #2 role and Burleson started the year strong before injury. He's worth a WR 3 in most leagues if he picks up where he left off.
