Johnny Manziel will work out for Cleveland Browns officials Saturday.

I have seen a few mock drafts that actually have Cleveland selecting Johnny Football with the #4 overall pick. Brian Hoyer is currently the starting QB for the Browns according to their depth chart so they certainly could use a QB.

Bucs have confirmed the visit on Thursday by QB Johnny Manziel.

Having parted ways with Josh Freeman and in search of a better quarterback than Mike Glennon, the Bucs will kick the tires on Manziel and see whether or not he is worth the trouble to move up in the draft. Manziel is expected to be a top-five pick but the Bucs are picking seventh. The Texans will obviously take Jadeveon Clowney with the top pick and the Rams are the only team who seem to be set at the quarterback position, so a move to third to get Manziel could cost the Bucs a hefty price.

Johnny Manziel’s agent announces his client won’t throw at the combine

No surprise here as all the top rated quarterbacks usually chose not to throw at the combine in part because they prefer to throw in private workouts for teams using receivers they are familiar with. Maziel's agent tweeted Friday evening that Manziel, "will do all of his throwing at his March 27th Pro Day & private workouts. Teams will have all the time & access they want."

ESPN analyst Mel Kiper Jr. is fluent in the language of the NFL Draft.  He's been speaking it since the 1970s.  Kiper shared another lesson on all-things draft with an hour-long conference call on Thursday. Perhaps the most notable takeaway from the call was Kiper's opinion on Texas A&M's popular quarterback Johnny Manziel. The 2012 Heisman Trophy-winning player known as "Johnny Football," appears to be the top quarterback in this year's draft class. "When you talk to people in the league, he’s kind of the consensus No. 1 quarterback," said Kiper, who sees several teams being interested in taking the play-making quarterback in the top 10. "He is in the mix for Houston, Jacksonville, Cleveland, Oakland, Minnesota – all those teams need quarterbacks," Kiper said.

Texas A&M quarterback Johnny Manziel has picked agents to represent his interests in the NFL once he declares his intention to enter the draft, which is widely anticipated. Manziel told ESPN's Brett McMurphy on Monday that he remains undecided whether to return to school next season or declare for the NFL draft. Manziel said he wants to meet with his family before making a decision on his future.

If Johnny Football does indeed make himself eligible for this year's NFL Draft, early expectations are that he would be the first quarterback off the board, possibly landing with the Cleveland Browns who have the fourth overall pick in the draft, or the Vikings at eight.
