Tom Coughlin is unsure if David Wilson (neck) will be ready for training camp.

Giants RB David Wilson, who recently underwent neck surgery, is ahead of schedule and expected to be ready for training camp, per source.

Wilson played in only five games in 2013 before suffering a season-ending neck injury, and will have to compete for touches with Andre Brown heading into the 2014 season. If the Giants can figure out a way to utilize both running backs they could be a nice one-two punch out of the backfield, but it is yet to be revealed how the coaching staff plans on utilizing both backs.

Confirmed: The Giants will indeed put RB David Wilson on season-ending injured reserve today.

The Giants will roll with Peyton Hillis this week against the Raiders. Andre Brown will likely take over as the primary ballcarrier as soon as he works his way into football shape.

David Wilson is likely headed to season-ending injured reserve today to make room for Andre Brown’s activation to the 53-man roster, a source told The Bergen Record.

His season will end with more fumbles than TD's. Wilson is an exciting runner but it takes more than speed and agility to become a star in the NFL.
