John Brown Headshot

Brown earned 42 of the Cardinals' 49 offensive snaps during Sunday's 33-0 loss to the Rams in London. However, he gathered in just one of four passes for six yards.

Brown was unable to play in Weeks 2 and 3 due to complications from his sickle-cell trait, but the next three outings were fruitful as he served as the No. 2 wideout behind Larry Fitzgerald. During that span, Brown recorded eight receptions (on 18 targets) for 136 yards and two touchdowns. His usage remained consistent Sunday, but he suffered from the departure of Carson Palmer (broken left arm), hauling in none of the three passes from his replacement Drew Stanton. Due to the potential for health issues to arise suddenly and the downgrade in quarterback play, it's difficult to rely on Brown moving forward.

Julius Thomas Headshot

Thomas was a limited participant in Monday's practice due to a knee injury, Adam H. Beasley of the Miami Herald reports.

After playing 39 snaps and finishing with a season-high 58 receiving yards on three catches in Sunday's win over the Jets, Thomas was likely restricted for maintenance purposes more than anything. It's a positive sign he was at least able to take the field on a limited basis Monday, and if he's upgraded to a full participant in team sessions Tuesday or Wednesday, he'll be in little danger of missing Thursday's tilt with the Ravens.

Drew Hutchison (R) Headshot

Hutchison has elected free agency, Rob Biertempfel of TribLive.com reports.

Hutchison was outrighted to Triple-A Indianapolis after clearing waivers last month, but the 27-year-old decided to test the free agent market rather than accept his minor-league assignment. He owns a 4.93 ERA, 1.37 WHIP, 8.3 K/9 and 2.8 BB/9 across 417.2 career major-league innings.
4:26 pm (EST)
Cal O'Reilly Headshot

O'Reilly was sent back to AHL Iowa on Sunday.

O'Reilly only skated for one game with Minnesota, throwing one shot on goal but going pointless. The 31-year-old has bounced around from the show to the AHL often during his career, and will likely continue to do so during the 2017-18 season.
4:25 pm (EST)
Andrei Mironov Headshot

Mironov was recalled from his conditioning assignment with AHL San Antonio, per agent Dan Milstein.

Mironov was in the minors to log some ice time -- something he wasn't getting with Colorado. The defenseman will likely spend Tuesday's matchup watching from the press box, but was needed to provide emergency depth after Patrik Nemeth (lower body) was ruled out against Dallas.
4:24 pm (EST)
Derrick Walton Jr. Headshot

Walton was assigned to the G-League on Monday, Andre C. Fernandez of the Miami Herald reports.

Walton has yet to the see the floor over the first two games of the season, so he'll head to the the G-League to get more reps and help further his development. Walton is on a two-way contract and is expected to spend the majority of the season with the Sioux Falls Syforce, keeping him off the fantasy radar.
4:22 pm (EST)
Zack Mitchell Headshot

Mitchell was sent down to the minors Sunday.

in his third stint in the NHL, Mitchell skated in two games for Minnesota but wasn't able to land his name on the score sheet. Last season the 24-year-old posted 22 points in 62 games for AHL Iowa, and will look to build off that point production in the 2017-18 season.
4:18 pm (EST)
DeVante Parker Headshot

Parker (ankle) didn't take part in the Dolphins' practice Monday, Adam H. Beasley of the Miami Herald reports.

The Dolphins likely took it easy in practice a day after their comeback win over the Jets, so the real test for Parker will come Tuesday, when he's expected to see how his ankle holds up during the team's session. If Parker is able to complete workouts Tuesday and Wednesday without significant limitations, he could be cleared to play Thursday against the Ravens following a two-game absence. Should Parker suit up, he'll have to adjust to a new quarterback in Matt Moore, as Jay Cutler, who started the team's first six games of the season, isn't expected to be available after fracturing two of his ribs Sunday.
4:17 pm (EST)
Tristan Thompson Headshot

Thompson sat out Monday's practice with a sore knee, but is expected to play in Tuesday's game against the Bulls, Joe Vardon of Cleveland.com reports.

Thompson doesn't appear to be in danger of missing any time, though it will still be worth it to monitor his status up through pregame warmups Tuesday, especially considering the Cavaliers are heading into a back-to-back set. After opening the 2017-18 campaign coming off the bench, Thompson has seen a much smaller role than last season and is averaging just 5.7 points, 7.7 rebounds and 1.0 assist across 23.3 minutes.
4:16 pm (EST)
Semyon Varlamov Headshot

Varlamov will guard the cage versus the Stars on Tuesday, Mike Chambers of The Denver Post reports.

Varlamov has dropped two straight outings after starting the year on a three-game winning streak. The netminder could be in line for a heavy workload Tuesday, considering Dallas is averaging 34.5 shots per game -- sixth highest in the league.
