Kemba Walker scored 18 points with eight assists before fouling out after 40 minutes in Saturday's loss to the Spurs.

Walker has now made it through two games without suffering any setbacks following an ankle injury that forced him out of the starting lineup for seven games. As long as he continues to average well over 10 shots per game, Walker will continues to be a solid fantasy contributor.

Kemba Walker left Tuesday's game late in the fourth quarter with a leg cramp and did not return as the game was well out of reach. The Bobcats went on to defeat the Warriors in ORACLE Arena 91-75.

Walker struggled from the field in his first game back after missing the last seven due to an ankle injury as he finished with just seven points on 3 of 11 shooting from the field, including 1-for-4 from three point range, to go with six boards, seven assists, a steal, three turnovers but did finish with a positive 15 +/- rating.

Update: Kemba Walker (ankle) will play Tuesday vs Golden State

4 Feb, 09:40 PMSource

Assuming his ankle doesn't flare up pre-game, Kemba Walker will start tonight vs Golden State and will have no minute restriction.

All signs point to Kemba Walker returning to the Charlotte Bobcats' starting lineup on Tuesday. The team is listing him as "questionable" for the game against the Golden State Warriors, due to the left ankle sprain that cost him the last seven games. However, Walker fully participated in Monday's practice and Tuesday's shootaround. So assuming he develops no new pain between now and tip-off, he looks ready to go.

Kemba Walker running without limp, might practice Thursday, and could play this weekend.

The soonest Walker could play is Friday in LA against the Lakers, but it seems likely that he will make his return either Saturday in Phoenix or Tuesday in Golden State in the last game of the Bobcats current four-game road trip.

Bobcats head coach Steve Clifford made it clear Monday's home game against the Toronto Raptors will be the first one missed in Walker's 190-game NBA career.

As we previously reported, X-Rays came back negative and Walker is likely to have an MRI on Sunday, but Clifford has already decided that Walker will not play in their next game on Monday, which upgrades Ramon Sessions' value for however long Walker is out.
