James Harden scored 21 points, grabbed seven rebounds, and recorded five assists in a losing effort on Thursday night.

Harden's struggles from the floor on Thursday night (8-23 FGA) were masked in the box score as he was able to still manage a 21-7-5 night. Where his struggles really showed up were in the final score, where the Rockets lost to the Pelicans by nine (99-90). When it became apparent that his shot wasn't falling, he should have looked to feed Howard more, but instead he tallied a poor shot selection and played porous defense as usual, which left the Rockets unable to answer the bell. Harden, up to this point has been having a MVP caliber season, so for this reason, he gets a pass on Thursday night. Don't expect another shooting struggle like this one from him any time soon.

James Harden scored 41 points (11-21 FGA, 18-21 FTA) going 1-for-7 from three-point range with four rebounds, 10 assists and two steals in the Rockets' 115-111 overtime win against the Nuggets on Wednesday.

Harden has been on an absolute tear over his last five games, averaging 31.6 points, 7.4 rebounds, 7.8 assists, 2.4 steals, 2.0 three-pointers and 1.2 blocks. His recent production has helped him rise up as the top fantasy player to own just ahead of Anthony Davis and Stephen Curry and will remain there until he cools off.

James Harden scored 24 points (7-20 FGA, 8-9 FTA) while going 2-for-5 from three-point range with 10 rebounds, 10 assists, one steal and two blocks to lead the Rockets past the Nuggets 108-96 on Saturday.

Harden followed up his season-high performance with another solid game on Saturday as he is now averaging 31.0 points, 7.4 rebounds, 7.09 assists, 2.0 steals and 2.4 three-pointers over his last five games. Barring a significant injury down the stretch, expect Harden to remain a top-five fantasy contributor the rest of the way.

James Harden scored 44 points (14-32 FGA, 13-15 FTA) going 3-for-10 from three-point range with four rebounds, eight assists, three steals and one block in the Rockets' 113-109 overtime victory over the Kings on Thursday.

He is now averaging 26.4 points, 6.2 rebounds, 6.5 assists, 2.0 steals, 1.1 blocks and 2.3 three-pointers through his first 22 games which has him sitting in the top-five overall in standard league formats.

James Harden scored 34 points 914-27 FGA, 3-4 FTA) going 3-for-8 from three-point range with eight rebounds, four assists and four steals in the Rockets' 105-93 loss to the Warriors on Wednesday.

Harden was able to shake off the poor shooting performance from his previous game (23.8 FG%) to total 34 points on a 51.9 field goal percentage but it wasn't enough to keep the Rockets win streak alive. Even if he has a couple poor nights along the way, Harden remains a top-five fantasy option moving forward while continuing to contribute across the board every time he takes the floor.

James Harden said thinks he's good to go Wednesday, but still has some slight pain.

The Rockets have gone 7-2 during the absence of Dwight Howard, but the same probably couldn't be said if James Harden was to miss some time too. Harden is going to do all he can so the Rockets can keep pace in the competitive Western Conference.

James Harden is questionable for Wednesday night against the Warriors.

Harden is dealing with some recent back tightness. He's been downplaying it since he left his last game,so look for him to try and play Wednesday if he is physically able.

James Harden said his back is still a little tight, but is getting better every day.

Harden left the Rockets last game due to back tightness but was able to return to the court and finish the game. Harden is currently considered questionable for tomorrows game against the Warriors and will likely be a game time decision.

Update: James Harden said he was in the locker room during Saturday's game with back tightness.

Back tightness, huh? Well that could explain his 23.8-percent shooting and 1-for-9 from three-point range. Harden scored 15 points (5-21 FGA, 4-5 FTA) with 12 rebounds, seven assists, two steals and three blocks during the Rockets' 100-95 win over the Suns. He'll likely be re-evaluated Sunday morning to determine the severity of the injury so just consider him day-to-day for now.

James Harden (unknown) is in the Rockets locker room.

No reason has been given yet, so we'll have to await word from the team. Hopefully it's nothing serious as losing Harden for any length of time would be devastating both to the Rockets and his fantasy owners..
