Enes Kanter may get mentorship from retired veteran Mehmet Okur, Sportando reports. "I'd like to take [Kanter] out and talk to him a little bit, see what happens, try to help him a little bit more," Okur said. "That's what I'm going to do the next time I come to town."

Enes Kanter was in beast mode Saturday as he finished with team-highs of 23 points and 14 boards (eight offensive), but it was not enough as the Jazz got blown out by the Clippers 102-87.

Kanter saw some extra opportunities with Derrick Favors and Jeremy Evans sidelined with injuries and is now averaging 15 points and six boards over his last five games.

Enes Kanter finished with 24 points on 11-13 shooting and five rebounds in Saturday's win vs the Wizards.

It has been a work in progress this season, but Kanter has shown signs of taking the next step in his development, and Saturday's performance proves that case. Kanter is averaging 15.0 points and 6.0 rebounds over his last five games, but his inconsistency has been a thorn in the side of his fantasy owners. He should remain only a deep league option until further notice.

Enes Kanter posted a double-double with 15 points and 10 rebounds Friday against the Cavaliers.

Despite inconsistent playing time of late, Kanter has been able to make the most of it, averaging 11.2 PPG and 7.6 RPG in under 20 minutes per game over his last five contests. His fantasy upside will continue to be limited as long as he is used off the bench, but if there is an uptick in his minutes, he could become a starter in standard leagues.

Enes Kanter posted a double-double in the loss to the Heat leading the team with 17 points and12 rebounds (four offensive) in 31 minutes off the bench.

Saturday marked the first game Kanter played 30-plus minutes since December 9th. Kanter has shown that when he gets the minutes he can be a solid producer, so now may be the time to stash him with the hopes that this game will encourage Jazz head coach Tyrone Corbin to play Kanter more minutes going forward.
