Carmelo Anthony has a ‘list’ of players he wants the Knicks to target this summer.

It has to be tiresome to play in the Big Apple and not be challenging for a division title. The Knicks should listen to their veteran star, as he has a good idea as to who could mesh with the other parts of the team and help to improve the Knicks' chances to compete.

Lakers' part-owner Jim Buss told reporters the team would rather sign Kevin Durant this offseason and then Russell Westbrook next year.

Lakers' part owner Jim Buss, son of legendary Jerry Buss, is known for making wild claims, and even worse decisions that seem to backfire. A few weeks back he reportedly said to several people that he had the intention o getting both big stars from the Thunder. Referring to Durant and guard Russell Westbrook. Now it seems he's revised that statement and instead says he and his organization are far more interested in signing Kevin Durant this off season rather than Russell Westbrook next year when he becomes a free agent.

The Kings and 76ers are reportedly interested in signing restricted free agent Dion Waiters this offseason.

Both the Kings and 76ers are loking at making a play at restricted free agent Dion Waiters this off season. Waiters who has had nothing short of a sporadic career falling out of favor in Cleveland before finding a home in OKC last season could fill a much needed two guard position for both teams. Waiter who came on late in the Thunders' playoff run last season, averaged 9.8 PPG, 2.6 RPG and 2.0 APG.

Hawks are pushing hard to get a meeting with Kevin Durant.

The latest team to join the sweepstakes in pushing for F Kevin Durant is the Atlanta Hawks. The seven time NBA All Star and four time NBA scoring champion will be a free agent on July 1st and is the biggest free agent to hit the market this off season. Along with the Hawks are the NY Knicks and LA Lakers making the push, and of course the team Durant is already a part of in the Oklahoma City Thunder will do everything they can to keep him right where he is. 76ers plan to be serious suitors for Harrison Barnes.

The Sixers, like every other team, will have a lot of money to spend in free agency but Barnes could be tough to get as he is a restricted free agent of Golden State's. The Warriors are clear in their intent to go after Kevin Durant which could open the door for Philly to pry him away with a tough contract to match. Barnes has been clear on his want to return to the record-setting team but he is surely overshadowed by Steph Curry, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green in a way that wouldn't happen with the rebuilding Sixers.
