Angels general manager Billy Eppler said that Campos underwent surgery Tuesday to remove a bone spur from his right elbow, Pedro Moura of the Los Angeles Times reports.
It sounds like it was just a cleanup procedure for Campos, who shouldn't be looking at an especially lengthy recovery timetable. That being said, he'll likely be shut down from throwing for at least a few weeks, which will hurt his chances of surfacing with the big club before the All-Star break.
