Hiroki Kuroda pitched seven shutout innings against the Orioles Sunday walking one and striking out four in the no-decision as Mariano Rivera blew his first save at home since Sept. 26th, 2010.
A very nice bounce back outing for Kuroda who had allowed four runs on seven hits, three home runs in his last start, which was also against the Orioles. Kuroda lowered his ERA from 2.95 to 2.77 on the season, but only has one win in his last nine starts.

While Kuroda hasn't been getting the Wins, he's been pitching brilliantly again this year. The aging pitcher is showing no signs of slowing down, and is a solid buy-low candidate, as he should get more wins/run support in the 2nd half of the season.
