Jeff Green Headshot

Update: Jeff Green is available to return to Tuesday's game.

Fortunately for Green and the Magic, his ankle injury does not appear to be overly serious. He could still have some residual soreness that will effect him in the balance of the game on Tuesday, and potentially going into the Friday matchup against the Celtics on the road. The Magic have to be hoping that he will not join the list of players out of action, as the team is beat up presently.

Kris Dunn Headshot

Kris Dunn will come off the bench on Tuesday.

Dunn got the start on Sunday, with starter Ricky Rubio not in uniform due to personal reasons, but will move back to his more familiar role as the backup point guard. Instead of 30+ minutes on Tuesday, he will return to his usual 17-18 minute role off the bench.

Jeff Green Headshot

Jeff Green (ankle) was taken to the locker room on Tuesday.

It looked like he may have suffered an ankle sprain, which forced him out of the game and off the sidelines, as well. The injury occurred when he landed on Dwayne Wade's foot. The Magic are already beat up, and certainly do not need to lose Green as well as Evan Fournier, Jodie Meeks and DJ Augustin. He did manage to walk off under his own power, so that is at least a better sign that he may not be out for an extended period, but that is just speculation at this point.

Eric Young Jr. Headshot

Angels signed Eric Young Jr. to a minor league contract

He spent most of 2016 playing in Triple-A at Colorado Springs. He has never lived up to his hype, failing to display consistent power or batting average, although he does offer that elusive skill of base stealing. He should start the season in the minors, but could see time as a utility outfielder if injuries strike the Angels during the season. Right now, unless you are in an extremely deep league, he should not be on your cheatsheet for the drafts to come this winter and spring.

Gary Harris Headshot

Gary Harris (ankle) is playing on Tuesday.

Harris was a game time decision after sitting out three games with a sprained right ankle, prior to returning to the court on Saturday for 35 minutes. He will be facing a tough Jazz defense on Tuesday, so do not expect him to repeat his 22 point performance from Saturday against the Timberwolves, but do expect him to see significant minutes as the staring shooting guard.

Darrell Arthur Headshot

Darrell Arthur (knee) is available to play on Tuesday.

He played in back-to-back contests on Saturday and Sunday, after missing the prior four games with a sore left knee. He will come off the bench to provide forecourt help against the visiting Jazz.

Emmanuel Mudiay Headshot

Emmanuel Mudiay (back) ruled out for Tuesday's game.

He will miss his second consecutive game with lower back soreness. Jameer Nelson should get the start at the point, with Jamal Murray serving as the primary backup off the bench when the Jazz visit the Nuggets on Tuesday.

Nelson gets the start with Emmanuel Mudiay sitting out the home contest against the Jazz on Tuesday. Jamal Murray will serve as the primary backup at point guard.
