Week 3 NFL Live Chat Chat
Dumervil was able to return to practice earlier this week but he isn't quite ready to return to game action yet and he'll miss his third game in a row. At any rate, the Ravens defense has an interesting matchup this week against the Jaguars whose offensive line is currently decimated by injuries. The Ravens defense is a nice contrarian DFS play this week.
Treadwell has struggled to flourish in the Vikings offense, and he will be a healthy scratch for Week 3. The No. 23 overall pick has not seen game action at all this season, which is not a good sign, but sometimes it takes time for rookie receivers to develop.
It was confirmed a couple of days ago that Ansah would miss the Lions Week 3 matchup with the Packers due to an ankle injury and it appears as though nothing has changed since we first learned about his status. Ansah is a key piece of the Lions pass rush, and it's going to be a long day for the Lions defense as their linebacker depth is incredibly thin due to injury. On top of all of that, they face off against one of the best quarterbacks in the league in Aaron Rodgers, yikes.
After his foot was stepped on during a walk-through earlier this week, Watkins will be inactive for the Bills tilt with the Cardinals. Watkins has been battling through lingering foot issues this season, and his production was less-than-stellar prior to this week as he caught just six passes for 63 yards and no touchdowns.
This is unfortunate, but not unexpected news for Walker owners seeing that he missed practice on Wednesday and Friday for the Titans. Walker was targeted 11 times in the first two weeks of the season, as he caught 9 passes for 125 yards and a touchdown. With Walker gone, Tajae Sharpe could be in line for an increase in targets, which makes him an interesting option for daily fantasy purposes today.
Well, this is certainly interesting news. Pryor was a key focal point in the Browns offense as a wide receiver through two games, as he was targeted 17 times so far this season. Pryor is certainly worth a look in daily fantasy formats, specifically for GPPs if he's going to be getting some snaps at quarterback or in the wildcat formation. Cleveland should be down for most of this game, so they will have to lean on the passing game and with Coleman out with a broken hand, Pryor should get an increase in looks even if he doesn't play any snaps at quarterback.
Linder was added to the Jaguars injury report earlier this week after suffering a sprained knee in practice on Wednesday. He's officially been ruled out for the Jaguars Week 3 tilt with the Ravens, and it appears as though the Jaguars offensive line will have to be shuffled a bit today. The Jaguars could be moving forward with an offensive line with new starters at three separate positions, which isn't great news for Blake Bortles.
