Evan Fournier Headshot

Evan Fournier (foot) is questionable for Wednesday.

Fournier still doesn't have an official timetable to return though he did play one minute in Monday's game after missing Saturday's game completely. He has been a solid contributor for the Magic this season but really only helps in points for the most part with just a handful of assists and rebounds a game.

Jake Diekman Headshot

Jake Diekman will have surgery to help alleviate his ulcerative colitis and is expected to miss at least half of the 2017 MLB season.

Several athletes recently have undergone procedures to help rid themselves of the digestive issue. Usually the procedure involves taking out a piece of the player's intestine and then the rehab process begins. Texas recently agreed to a one-year, $2.55 million contract with the lefty reliever but said they were aware of the possibility of the procedure when they agreed to the deal. With him now sidelined for a significant part of the 2017 season it will leave a hole in the Rangers pen that will need to be addresses in spring training in all likelihood.

Sean Lee Headshot

Sean Lee will replace Luke Kuechley in the Pro Bowl.

Sean Lee had himself a great season in his own right but Kuechley got more press for playing for the defending NFC Champs and have a great track record. However Kuechley missed the last four games of the season with a concussion and has decided that it's in his best interest to skip the glorified scrimmage. Lee is a well-deserving replacement who will get one more chance on a football field this season with the Cowboys now out of the playoffs.

Demetrius Jackson Headshot

Demetrius Jackson was reassigned to the D-League on Tuesday.

Jackson hasn't played a minute in a game all month and has only played 18 total this season. He was simply up for some depth over the last couple of games but that is no longer needed by Boston.
Carlos Dunlap Headshot

Carlos Dunlap will replace Jadeveon Clowney (elbow, wrist) in the Pro Bowl.

Dunlap had another solid season for Cincinnati with 49 total tackles, eight sacks, and three forced fumbles but that wasn't good enough for the original roster. With Houston now eliminated from the post-season Clowney can focus on getting healthy for the start of OTAs and training camp to be able to build on what was his breakout season of his career.

Steven Adams Headshot

Steven Adams (concussion) will not play Wednesday.

Adams was diagnosed with the concussion on Monday and won't be able to play or practice much until he clears through the protocol, which he hasn't done yet. Enes Kanter will get a boost in minutes once again with Adams unable to go for the second game in a row.

Jeremy Lamb Headshot

Jeremy Lamb (foot) will not play Wednesday.

Wednesday will be the third straight game that Lamb will miss with the foot issue as he is not yet at full strength. Marco Belinelli will get another game of extended run in minutes in his place. Lamb was playing solidly prior to the injury for the Hornets.

Jose Bautista Headshot

According to sources, the Blue Jays and Jose Bautista have agreed on a one-year deal with a mutual option. The deal is pending a physical and won't be officially announced until later in the week.

It has been a long and drawn out process to get Joey Bats back in Toronto this offseason after mixed messages and assurances from his agent that he wouldn't be going back, he signs after all. The deal was initially reported to be a two-year, $35-$40 million framework but the exact financials and terms will leak out as the week progresses, especially since this deal is slightly different than what was first reported. With Kendrys Morales taking the place of Edwin Encarnacion in the lineup, it was key for Bautista to return across the border to provide his signature pop, though it's been lacking the past two seasons, to the middle of the lineup. Fantasy players and the Jays alike are hoping for a bounce back season from the previously dominating slugger in 2017.

Tarik Black Headshot

Tarik Black (ankle) will play Tuesday against Denver.

He was a full participant in Tuesday's shootaround and thus gets the nod to go later in the day for the game against the Nuggets. He is averaging 5.8 PPG and 5.1 RPG at the moment so he is much more a real-life contributor than a fantasy one.
