Trevor Siemian Headshot

Trevor Siemian is out of his walking boot. Broncos are hopeful he plays Week 14.

Great news for the Broncos as their starting quarterback will hope to get back on the field in their Week 14 match-up against the Titans. Though the Broncos won with Paxton Lynch starting in place for Siemian, the Broncos will need Siemian playing if they want any shot at making the playoffs.

Jake Matthews Headshot

Falcons coach Dan Quinn said LT Jake Matthews has a sprained left knee and is hopeful to return to practice on Thursday.

Matthews left the Falcons Week 13 game in the first half and did not return. As the week goes on, we'll have a better understanding of his status for Week 14. Tom Compton is next in line at tackle should Matthews not be able to play.

Julio Jones Headshot

Julio Jones has a turf toe injury.

Just in time for the fantasy playoffs, right? Jones has been banged up seemingly all season but has successfully played through his soreness and injuries with ease. He is expected to be fine this time around and even told the media that he'll be "OK." Jones is a must-start but this could impact this usage on Sunday. Mohamed Sanu and Taylor Gabriel should see additional touches should Jones be hampered out there.

John Brown Headshot

The Cardinals will try to limit John Brown to weekly snaps as they work to figure out his sickle-cell issues.

Brown played in less than a third of the snaps for Arizona in Week 13, and drew only one target. These issues related to the sickle-cell trait did not bother Brown in his first two years in the league, but they're making a conscious effort to get to the bottom of this. Until then, Brown will not be a viable fantasy option in 2016.

Chris Sale Headshot

Nationals are stepping up their efforts to land Chris Sale.

After failing to resign Mark Melancon, the Nationals reportedly are going to increase their efforts to land Chris Sale. For the Nats to acquire the lefty, they'll have to practically clear out their farm system as the White Sox have been asking for a ton in return. With Sale in the Nationals rotation, they would boast one of the greatest pitching staffs in the league.

Mark Melancon Headshot

Mark Melancon has agreed to a deal with the Giants pending a physical.

The Giants have signed Melancon to a four-year deal, worth about $62 million. This move addresses a need that cost the Giants dearly in the 2016 season and gives them stability in the back end of their bullpen. Melancon isn't the strikeout-dominant pitcher like most others in the league, but very few have been as dominant. Melancon posted a 1.64 ERA last season with 47 saves across time with the Pirates and Nationals.

Robert Griffin Headshot

Robert Griffin III is listed as questionable for Week 14. If he has a good practice this week he will start at QB Sunday.

Another year, another topsy turvy season for the Browns and their Quarterback situation. RG III began the season as the Browns starter but was placed on IR. If he practices well this week, he could be back in the starting role in Week 14. Griffin makes for a somewhat intriguing option as a QB2 if you're in desperate need.

Cecil Shorts Headshot

Cecil Shorts (knee) is out for the season.

Cecil Shorts tore his right ACL, MCL and PCL, and dislocated his knee. A devastating knee injury for the veteran receiver. Reports are that it's career-threatening and for someone who has had a long history of injuries, Shorts has likely played his last game in the NFL.

Denard Robinson Headshot

Denard Robinson sustained a high-ankle sprain Week 13.

Robinson was heavily involved in the offense on Sunday, touching the ball 18 times, but left the game with a high-ankle sprain. He's likely not going to play this week, which means the Jaguars will need to have the return of Chris Ivory.

Luke Babbitt Headshot

Luke Babbitt (hip flexor) is questionable for Tuesday.

Babbitt was able to practice on a limited basis on Monday so he may be able to play on Tuesday. Should he be active, he'll be in line for lots of minutes as fellow Forward James Johnson is expected to be out with a rotator cuff injury. Having said that, Babbitt is not a great option in fantasy, regardless of the potential uptick in minutes.
