Latest from Ray Flowers' MLB Draft Guide

Ryan Johansen Headshot

Johansen picked up a pair of assists on the power play in Saturday's 7-2 rout of the Sharks.

Johansen snapped a three-game point drought with the two helpers, as he continues to be a hard player to read this season. The veteran picks up points in bunches, so perhaps this is the start of another hot streak. The Islanders, his next opponent Monday, hope that's not the case.

Colin Wilson Headshot

Wilson finished with three assists and a plus-3 rating in Saturday's 7-2 win against the Sharks.

Wilson went 12 straight games without a multi-point game, now he has two or more points in each of his past two outings. He started the season rather slowly, but he is now up to five goals with 13 points over his past 17 games. That's not bad production for those in fantasy pools of 12 or more teams.
5:04 am (EST)
Craig Smith Headshot

Smith posted three assists with a plus-3 rating in Saturday's 7-2 victory against the Sharks.

Smith has caught fire over the past three games, posting six assists with a plus-8 rating. He is showing some signs of life down the stretch for the red-hot Predators, but Smith is nothing more than a plug-and-play option in deeper seasonal pools at this point.
5:01 am (EST)
Joe Pavelski Headshot

Pavelski was scoreless with two blocked shots, a hit and two minor penalties in Saturday's 7-2 loss against the Predators.

Pavelski was playing in his 800th NHL game, but it's not one he will want to watch on video. The veteran has no goals and just one assist over his past six games. He and the other big guns for the Sharks have been shooting blanks lately, totaling just seven goals during their six-game losing streak.
4:59 am (EST)
Josh Bailey Headshot

Bailey posted an assist in Saturday's 2-1 loss against the Bruins, his second helper in as many nights.

Bailey snapped a six-game scoreless drought last time out. He is up to eight assists in March, his second-most productive month of the season in that category. Every time he etches is name onto the scoresheet he improves his career high in points, too. Bailey is up to a career-high 39 assists and 51 points with a few more games left to go.
4:55 am (EST)
Brock Nelson Headshot

Nelson posted an assist with a pair of blocked shots in Saturday's 2-1 loss against the Bruins.

With the assists Nelson reached the 40-point mark for the third consecutive season. He is just two points short of his career high set in the 2014-15 campaign. Nelson has emerged as a decent No. 3 center in deeper seasonal pools.
4:51 am (EST)
Dominic Moore Headshot

Moore posted an assist with a plus-2 rating in Saturday's 2-1 win against the Islanders.

Moore has two goals and six points over his past seven games, as he continues his unlikely production from the checking line. Still, he has just 11 goals and 24 points through 75 games, so he is only someone to rely upon in the very deepest of seasonal pools.
4:48 am (EST)
Riley Nash Headshot

Nash scored both goals in Saturday's 2-1 victory against the Islanders and he finished with a plus-2 rating.

Nash has back-to-back two-point games, scoring three goals with an assist and a plus-3 rating. Don't get too excited, however, as his first 10 games in the month of March resulted in a goose egg. Seasonal fantasy owners will still want to shy away from the journeyman. However, those in DFS play might want some exposure to Nash, especially since he comes with a low price tag.
4:46 am (EST)
Anthony Duclair Headshot

Duclair posted an assist and plus-1 rating in Saturday's 4-1 loss against the Capitals.

Duclair has three assists over his past four games, as he is picking up the pace a bit down the stretch. While those in deeper seasonal pools might not find him useful yet, he is worth a look as a low-end option in DFS play.
4:42 am (EST)
Peter Holland Headshot

Holland scored his fourth goal of the season and he finished with a plus-1 rating in Saturday's 4-1 loss against the Capitals.

Holland's goal snapped a six-game point drought, and it was his first marker since March 5. At this stage of the season there isn't enough time for Holland to endear himself to fantasy owners again.
