Latest Update Danny Santana will come into Spring Training as a shortstop. Mon Dec, 08, 07:57 PM
Is very fast and quite versatile (he can play both middle infield positions, as well as the outfield). Owns a great throwing arm and the ability to steal plenty of bases.
Flaws: : Is far too aggressive at the dish, as he strikes out too much and lacks the patience to draw enough walks to make his speed far more valuable. Lacks consistency in all areas.
He played more than twice as many games in the outfield in 2014, with 69 games in centerfield as opposed to 34 at short. With the Twins signing Torii Hunter, the outfield is getting more crowded, and shortstop is where Santana can do the most good for the club.Analyst: Ivar G. Anderson
Santana had three of his team's four hits and has been a great player for the Twins since his call-up. His average sits at .319 for the year, and expect fantasy owners next year to target the speedy shortstop/outfielder.Analyst: Colby Conway
Santana was out of the lineup Tuesday after a three-game 1-for-13 slump. With a day of rest under his belt, he should be just fine Wednesday to lead things off for the Twins.Analyst: Howard Bender
Santana has been awesome during the second half of the season. This is just a routine day off for Santana and has nothing to do with an injury.Analyst: Mark Kaplan
