Latest Update Bogaerts (concussion) is back in the starting lineup Saturday Sat Aug, 30, 03:48 PM
Is a naturally gifted hitter with tremendous power potential and awesome bat speed. Sprays the ball to all fields. Has a great arm and a very projectable 6-3 frame.
Flaws: : While he's improving his defense at shortstop, he might not have enough glove to play the position in the bigs. Also doesn't boast a lot of base-stealing speed.
It has been a disappointing rookie season for Xander who is hitting just .223 with 47 runs, eight home runs and 30 RBI on the season.Analyst: Jonathan Impemba
Bogaerts took a Felix Hernandez pitch to the head last week and has be out of action ever since. The concussion that he suffered seems to have been minor and he should be back in the lineup on Saturday. He has had an up and down season thus far and will look to finish strong.Analyst: David Kerr
Now cleared, Bogaerts will take a few days to get his timing back and once eligible, will be activated from the 7-day DL. He's been a bit of a disappointment this season with his .223 average and just eight home runs and two stolen bases. Perhaps he can finish the season strong.Analyst: Howard Bender
Hope that actually happens, but we see time and time again, that a player returns to early from concussions or get re-injured very easily. Hard to make an argument to hold onto Bogaerts for fantasy teams that are fighting for a championship and need that roster spot. Analyst: Mark Kaplan
