Latest Update Eduardo Escobar remains out of the lineup with a right shoulder injury. Tue Sep, 23, 12:34 PM
Is an excellent defensive infielder with an accurate arm capable of playing shortstop. Switch-hits and has some speed. Can play all over the infield.
Flaws: : Isn't a great hitter overall, and is also extremely limited in the power department, which hurts his chances for regular playing time in the bigs.
The Twins have no reason to push it with Escobar, so you, unfortunately cannot count on him the rest of the way. Even if he does come back, it will be on a part-time basis and the shoulder injury will prevent him from hitting for any kind of power.Analyst: Howard Bender
Escobar will sit for the third game in a row with a jammed shoulder, but it looks like the issue is improving. Hopefully he'll be back in the lineup early next week, though the Twins have no need to rush him as they are out of playoff contention.Analyst: Ben Diamond
Escobar injured his shoulder on Tuesday and has been out ever since. An MRI determined that he didn't suffer any type of damaging injury, so he should be back on the field for the season's final week. Eduardo Nunez has been filling in for Escobar.Analyst: David Kerr
No structural damage is obviously the key. Consider him day-to-day for now and look for him to potentially return within a few days. He may be able to return by the weekend.Analyst: Howard Bender
