Latest Update Marisnick (back) has returned to the Astros' starting lineup on Tuesday Tue Aug, 19, 04:50 PM
An excellent athlete with five-tool potential, he covers good ground in center field and also boasts a very good throwing arm. Can steal bases with aplomb and displays plenty of home-run power.
Flaws: : Has to improve his hitting mechanics and shorten his swing significantly in order to maximize his hitting upside for the big leagues. Also must start making more solid contact on a consistent basis.
Since being acquired by the Astros Marisnick has hit .293 with five runs, one home run and five RBI.Analyst: Jonathan Impemba
Marsinick is now slashing .315/.321/.426 with four extra-base hits and five five RBI in the month of August has he tries to make his impact last with his new ball club. However, outside of deep AL-only leagues there is no reason to consider him a viable option, especially if he loses at-bats once George Springer is back in the fold. Analyst: Matthew Beck
This was easily Marisnick's best game since being traded to the Astros. He has played for the Astros everyday since he was acquired and that will continue for the rest of the season. Analyst: David Kerr
