Latest Update Duda is not in the Mets starting lineup on Wednesday. Wed Sep, 10, 03:17 PM
Has pretty good power and run-producing ability, thanks to a big frame and patience at the plate. Can play first base or left field.
Flaws: : Isn't much of a fielder, so he needs to continue to work on that aspect of his game. Also needs more work against left-handed pitching.
With a .169 average and just one home run in 95 at-bats against southpaws, Duda will take a seat against Colorado's Tyler Matzek. Eric Campbell will fill in at first base Wednesday.Analyst: Howard Bender
Duda is now slashing .251/.346/.484 with 27 home runs and 80 RBI as he continues to be the main power source in the middle of the Mets starting lineup. Despite his inability to hit lefties on a regular basis (.163 BA), he is still a must-start in all fantasy formats while he is consistently hitting for power. Analyst: Matthew Beck
It's been a career year for Lucas Duda whose two home runs put him at 26 on the season with 76 RBI and a .260 average. The home run was his 7th in the month of August to go along with 16 RBI and a .250 average. At this point in the season it's hard to think Duda will not continue to produce as he looks to close in on his first 30 home run and 100 RBI season.Analyst: Jonathan Impemba
Duda was hot there for a little while, from the end of July through early August, but he had cooled considerably and only had three home runs in August before this one. If he can catch fire again like he did in late July, then you'll want to make sure he stays active. You won't see a lot of help in batting average but a nice run could give you a pretty solid power boost.Analyst: Howard Bender
