Latest Update Dee Gordon said his hip feels fine and he is cleared to run. Tue Sep, 30, 03:08 PM
Has blazing speed, which he uses to intimidate on the base-paths. Racks up stolen bases. Also boasts great range for the second-base position, quality arm strength and some pop in his bat.
Flaws: : Could stand to be a little more selective at the plate, since he doesn't walk enough and strikes out a bit too much for someone with modest power. Is prone to going into batting slumps.
Gordon suffered a pelvic strain last Friday and the Dodgers immediately rules out the final two games of the season for him. With the NLDS not starting until Friday, Gordon will have had a full week to rest and recover. He should be back atop the order and playing second base when the Dodgers open up against the Cardinals.Analyst: Howard Bender
He's dealing with a pelvic strain right now, so the Dodgers will simply take it day by day. He'll continue to test it out right up until the first game of the NLDS which is Friday.Analyst: Howard Bender
