Latest Update Crawford Drives in 3 Runs in Win Mon Oct, 27, 06:16 AM
Is a very solid defensive infielder, complete with a strong throwing arm. Has pretty good power and is quite big for a middle infielder.
Flaws: : Strikes out a bit too much for his average level of power, and doesn't steal enough bases to be a more rounded offensive player.
Crawford is now 6-for-18 (.333 BA) with one home run and four RBI through the first five games of the World Series as he continues to have himself a solid postseason. Although his production was sporadic throughout the regular season he has certainly proved he can get the job done when it counts which is going to be more than enough to help him secure the shortstop position with the Giants beyond 2014. Crawford usually makes his greatest contributions with his glove, but Wednesday was a rare exception. His fantasy value remains extremely limited.Analyst: Steve Pimental
Crawford's grand slam in the fourth inning proved to be all the team needed to win this game. While they tacked on four more runs over the rest of the game, Crawford's grand slam was a huge momentum spike for the Giants. Analyst: Colby Conway
Crawford's shown solid power this season for the shortstop position, with 10 home runs and 68 RBI's this season. None of his numbers are especially eye popping, but he's done a bit of everything this season (other than hit for average: .246), and has been a solid all around shortstop for the Giants this season.
