Is quite toolsy and athletic. Plays good defense in the field and boasts a good power/speed package at bat. His athleticism is a major plus.
Flaws: : Is inconsistent, especially at the plate. Needs more work on his walk/strikeout ratio in order to maximize his offensive production.
Cain is now 10-for-24 (.417 BA) with two extra-base hits and two stolen bases over his last seven games as he continues to help the Royals get into the postseason. Through 406 at-bats Cain is slashing .304/.342/.417 with five five home runs, 51 RBI, 54 runs scored and 27 stolen bases making him a legitimate fantasy starter despite hitting in the bottom third of the Royals order for most of the season.Analyst: Matthew Beck
