Latest Update Evan Longoria will become the third player in club history to play in every regular season game. Sun Sep, 28, 09:07 AM
Is one of the game's best all-round performers at the hot corner. Is a power hitter that can also maintain a solid batting average. He's great defensively. Performs well under pressure.
Flaws: : If he has one main flaw at the plate, it's a reasonably high strikeout rate. Also, he can go into prolonged hitting slumps at times. Isn't really much of a base-stealing threat, either.
This will be the first time in his career in which he will be able to play every game for the Rays, which is an incredible feat in this era. However,, he is slashing .253/.321/.404 so maybe a day off here and there could have helped out his production in 2014.Analyst: Matthew Beck
The trainers will look at his hand again Wednesday morning to check on the swelling and his ability to grip and swing a bat. If all checks out, he should remain in the lineup, but don't be surprised to see him get a day or two off.Analyst: Howard Bender
The two RBIs he earned today bring his season total up to 90 on the year. Longoria is having a quietly productive season for owners, and is one of the best third baseman in fantasy baseball. Continue starting Longoria in all formats.Analyst: Colby Conway
While Longoria hasn't been the top of the line player that some hoped he would be when they drafted him, he's put up very solid all around numbers this season. His 21 homers, 77 runs, and 87 RBI's are good to see, his .250 average leaves something to be desired. Analyst: Ben Diamond
