Latest Update The Orioles have declined their 2015 club option on C Nick Hundley. Sat Nov, 01, 06:30 PM
Is a pretty good athlete. Shows solid bat speed for the catching position and has above-average mobility for a backstop.
Flaws: : Struggles to throw out base-stealers and commits too many mistakes behind the dish. Also doesn't make enough contact as a hitter.
With Matt Weiters set to return and Caleb Joseph as his projected back up, the Orioles will let go of Hundley. Hundley was not impressive in his chance as the starting catcher, batting .233 with 19 RBI's in 159 at bats. He'll likely be signed by another team as a second or third string catching option. Analyst: Ben Diamond
Despite going 0-for-8 in three games in the ALDS, Hundley is the preferred defensive option for manager Buck Showlater. If his bat continues to be an issue though, Caleb Joseph could see some extra at-bats.Analyst: Howard Bender
The home run was Hundley's 2nd in as many games and his sixth of the season. Hundley is in a time share with Caleb Joseph making both catchers hard to own outside of an AL Only league.Analyst: Jonathan Impemba
Hundley's three run home run came off of Twins starter Phil Hughes today. He doesn't garner any fantasy attention since he does not play often, so he should remain on the waiver wire of your leagues. He has four home runs and 15 RBIs on the year.Analyst: Colby Conway
