Latest Update Forsythe provides only offense in Rays loss Fri Sep, 19, 11:31 PM
Can be a very patient hitter, especially in the minor leagues. Can steal bases. Defensively, he's quite versatile, which adds to his overall value.
Flaws: : Strikes out a ton for someone with modest home-run power. Lacks consistency in all areas of the game and needs to find his big-league niche.
It was a good night for Forsythe, but he will probably always be more useful for the Rays than for fantasy teams.Analyst: Steve Pimental
Despite logging three multi-hit games in the month of August, Forsythe has started just six of the teams last 13 games as he continues to see inconsistent playing time in the Rays infield. He has the ability to play a handful of positions, but until his playing time becomes more regular Forsythe and his .253 batting average belong on the waiver wire. Analyst: Matthew BeckMore Experts..
Forsythe continues to swing a hot bat as he is hitting .349 (32-for-92) since June 16th. The home run was his fourth of the season, but first since July 5th. He does not start every game, but is getting enough playing time (17 starts over his last 21 games) to warrant consideration in deeper leagues while he seeing the ball well.Analyst: Michael Pichan
Forsythe was supposed to be out of the lineup for the fifth time in seven games but will instead be replacing Escobar following his ejection. Analyst: Ben Diamond
