Latest Update Andrew McCutchen went 2-for-4 with a home run and a walk in the Pirates win over the Phillies on Wednesday. Wed Sep, 10, 11:25 PM
Has tremendous speed and athleticism. Also possesses power, a keen batting eye and plate patience at the dish. Is a great and instinctive defensive center-fielder. Can steal bases.
Flaws: : Could stand to put on more muscle on his 5-10 frame (for even better power and greater durability). With his speed, he could become more efficient when on the base-paths.
McCutchen's home run today was actually an inside-the-parker that came in the 5th inning of today's contest. Cutch now has 23 home runs to go with 75 RBIs on the year. If he wouldn't have lost time due to the rib injury, he would be making a much stronger push to Clayton Kershaw and Giancarlo Stanton for the National League most valuable player award. Continue starting the reigning NL MVP as he is one of the best fantasy players, as well as one of the best in the game.Analyst: Colby Conway
McCutchen continues to hit despite still being bothered by that rib injury. He still has an average of above .300 and even though he missed time while on the DL, he is still in the running for the MVP of the National League. He also tried to steal a base in today's game, which means he could be feeling healthier. He needs three more steals to enter the 20/20 club.Analyst: Colby Conway
After going 1-for-13 over his last three games, McCutchen was able to get himself back on track on Saturday, logging his third mulit-hit game over his last six games. He is now slashing .305/.398/.527 with 21 home runs, 73 RBI and 17 stolen bases, as he remains on track to join the 20/20 club for the fourth consecutive season. Analyst: Matthew Beck
Cutch hit a 454-foot missile today against the Cardinals and showed that even with a rib ailment, he can still produce at an elite level. While he still looks like that rib is bothering him, he is going to continue to try to play through it. He is still producing and owners must start him every time the Buccos play. Dont expect him to steal bases very often the rest of the season. Cutch is a fantasy stud who will be a top pick in drafts next year.Analyst: Colby Conway
