Latest Update Brantley is not in the Indians starting lineup on Monday Mon Jul, 21, 04:34 PM
Has a very good batting eye, excellent patience and good speed. Also has a rangy, athletic frame with run-producing skills. Is also very good glove man in the outfield.
Flaws: : Needs to show he can hit with more power to add to his overall value. Defensively, he doesn't have a great arm. Doesn't have one elite quality to speak of, unfortunately.
Just a day of rest for Brantley as the dream season continues. He's batting .326 on the year with 15 home runs, 63 RBI and 11 stolen bases and continues to look better and better with every at-bat.Analyst: Howard Bender
Well, if you were worried about the All Star break ruining Brantley's momentum, that baby can officially be put to bed. The four-hit night boosted his average up to .329 and he also swiped his 11th stolen base on the year. Continue to ride Brantley the rest of the way as his season should continue down this path over the next two and a half months. The late-round flier is posting career-best numbers and it's players like him that help bring home fantasy championships.Analyst: Howard Bender
Like he has all season, Brantley continues to rake for the Indians. His performance on Saturday extended his hit streak to nine games, and he has scored one run in five consecutive games, also hitting two home runs and 6 RBI's in that span. Analyst: Ben Diamond
Knew Brantley was doing some great things at the plate this season, but none could be more impressive than that. He is having a breakout for the Indians and has rewarded all the fantasy owners that drafted him this season. Brantley is having an elite caliber season and is a must start when healthy.Analyst: Mark Kaplan
