Latest Update Ryan Raburn had arthroscopic surgery to repair a lateral meniscus tear Fri Sep, 19, 05:09 PM
Owns very good bat speed and uses it well with a nice approach at the plate. Can play several positions on the field, and get red-hot at the dish. Boasts good power. Mashes left-handed pitching.
Flaws: : Despite his versatility with the glove, he's not a polished fielder anywhere. Also strikes out way too much, vis-a-vis his walks total. Is prone to massive hitting slumps. Doesn't hit well enough against righties.
Obviously Raburn is out for the remainder of the season. He will rehabilitate over the winter and attempt to come back at one-hundred percent next spring.Analyst: David Kerr
A platoon play at best, this will hurt the Indians a lot more than this will hurt fantasy owners. Analyst: Howard Bender
Would be very shocked if this news affected anyone's fantasy team. Raburn is a platoon player that is not worth owning in any fantasy format. Analyst: Mark Kaplan
Raburn will likely be taken in for an MRI to reveal the severity of the injury if it's not feeling better tomorrow. The team should update us on the severity of the hyperextension soon. Analyst: Ben Diamond
