Latest Update Aaron Hill went 1-for-3 with a RBI, run, walk and a stolen base in the Diamondbacks win over the Padres on Sunday. Sun Sep, 14, 07:40 PM
Has a great approach at the plate, including a compact power swing and a pretty good eye. Can carry an offense for stretches. A doubles machine with very good home-run power, he also plays a smooth second base.
Flaws: : Could be even better with a slightly improved walk/strikeout ratio. Doesn't make great use of his pretty good speed when running the bases. Injuries can be an issue for him, so durability is a concern.
Hill stole his third base of the season and collected his 59th RBI. The power hitting second baseman only has 10 long balls on the year and his average is way down from years past. Analyst: Colby Conway
Hill has played sparingly lately, though his bat is starting to come alive.Analyst: Steve Pimental
Hill has very good career numbers against Dodgers starter Dan Haren, but the Diamondbacks are choosing to rest him anyway. He should be back at second base on Saturday.Analyst: David Kerr
Hill was a home run shy of the cycle in today's game against the Rockies. Hill has had a rough August thus far and will receive frequent off days being a 32-year old. The potential for these kind of games always exist for Hill but they are few and far between. Due to his low average, and decreased power, he remains a low end play as a fantasy second baseman.Analyst: Colby Conway
